Got this for my husband and he loves it. We went to the store and tried it on first before ordering from this site. (Better price!) My husband has broad shoulders so we had to go for the XL instead of the L so there's a little extra room in the midsection so keep that in mind....

I love APEX fabric for the breath-ability it provides when I'm working hard. The hood fits everything; Ski helmet, climbing helmet, even my motorcycle helmet. I keep a set of light liner gloves up in the bicep pocket....

This jacket has the quality of a jacket that could cost up to $300 at a ski store. I received the jacket very quickly and have used it on 2 skiing trips. It is very warm, but not too bulky and comes with an inside jacket that can attach / detach from the outer waterproof hell....

I wore this in heavy snow fall with a hooded technical fleece and a thin base layer and was very warm and comfortable. The snow and ice and water never penetrated the shell and the 20 mile an hour winds never did either....
