I really don't think it would be a bad product for someone who wanted the very lightest jacket they could find. I didn't think it would feel so thin and shirt like. I was expecting a jacket to wear as an alternate between my thick big Northface winter jacket and my other Northface thermal light spring jacket on warmer winter days. It was not that. I can run on the coldest, windiest day and be perfectly comfortable with this jacket and a thin long sleeved running shirt underneath. The zipper pocket at the chest is perfect for my ipod. The zipper pockets at the waist are perfect for my phone, gloves, chapstick, and gels. I can tell that every stich is high quality and it is not going to fall apart on me.
